Session 1 - Carbon Transition Risk

Time: 13:00 - 14:30 GMT | 21:00 - 22:30 SGT

The lecture will introduce carbon transition risk and will mostly focus on potential misconceptions and challenges regarding this concept. I want to introduce a global perspective on the topic from different perspectives: regulators, investors, and firms. I want to discuss issues related to interpretability and measurement of the risk. Investors and practitioners will hopefully get a more conceptually founded framework for thinking about the risk and how to do and not to do inference in this area.
