The PRI welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the Government of Canada’s consultation on “Getting Major Projects Built in Canada – Discussion Paper on Proposed Legislative, Regulatory, and Policy Reforms”.

In our response, we support measures to improve coordination, reduce duplication and increase predictability, while ensuring accelerated processes are grounded in project readiness, meaningful Indigenous participation and a clear understanding of material environmental, legal and rights-related risks.
