Join this webinar dedicated to the launch of the fifth edition of the Biodiversity Measurement Approaches guide. Jointly developed by the EU Business & Biodiversity Platform Workstream Finance and Finance for Biodiversity (FfB) Foundation, this guide provides an overview of 13 tools to help financial institutions understand and measure their interactions with biodiversity. The majority of these tools have multiple applications and can be used for different purposes, including supporting investor engagement programs, portfolio management strategies, and other investor decision-making processes.

The session will walk through the key updates in the fifth edition, including guidance on tailoring measurement tools to different asset classes, new developments in marine impact assessment, and insights from the IPBES Business and Biodiversity Assessment. A panel of practitioners and experts will also reflect on how biodiversity assessment methodologies in finance may evolve over the next five years.
