The PRI has responded to the consultation on the draft amendment to the Korea Stewardship Code. The PRI supports the amendment and considers it a positive strengthening of Korea’s stewardship framework.

The PRI welcomes the proposed amendments to the Korea Stewardship Code and considers them a positive strengthening of Korea’s stewardship framework. The revisions broaden the scope of stewardship to incorporate sustainability factors and additional asset classes, strengthen accountability across the investment chain, and introduce enhanced reporting and review mechanisms. The PRI recommends supporting implementation through guidance, capacity building, streamlined reporting and measures to facilitate collaborative stewardship.
